Going crazy trying to find 7th grade science fair projects?

If your middle-schooler is moaning and groaning about trying to find interesting science fair projects, you can be of assistance. There are lots of projects that are not snooze fests.

7th grade science fair projects do not need to be complicated to be fun.  You will also find that great science fair projects do not need to be expensive.

Before your 7th grader decides to totally rebel against the whole science fair project idea you can be ready with all kinds of cool ideas.  Look for science fair projects at the library or visit with a science teacher for innovative experiments.  Visit online sites that specialize in science fair projects and that also have the materials needed to complete the experiments.  I’ll be adding more of these projects right here on this site.

You may find many 7th grade science fair projects that only require everyday materials.  This makes it easy to find all the things you need without having to spend the time to locate some of the more unusual items.

It should not be difficult to projects that utilize things you already have in your cupboard or medicine cabinet.  There are projects for 7th graders that use produce or products from the dairy section.  Look for projects that teach kids about sounds, biology, the earth and botany.  There are other science fair project that will educate you about various topics like gravity, surface tension and inertia.

One thing to remember about 7th grade science fair projects is the importance of research and preparation.  Sometimes kids do not do well at science fairs because they have not spent the time they should getting ready.  Judges like projects that are detailed and well-thought out.

Help your child with 7th grade science fair projects by being willing to assist her/him with the selection of the project.  Be supportive and encouraging and the science fair project can be a great experience for everyone involved.  There are many science fair projects that 7th graders will love, even if they may not think so at first.
